The reason I want to walk more normally is…(fill in your answer.)

When the strokes first happened to me, I couldn’t walk! I was shocked that I was not up to do most anything. Little by little over the next 5 weeks I was in the hospital, I started to learn all over how to run my body. With the help of the therapists, I started to walk. It is a slow, often painful process to walk. I still continue working on my walk today. I persist because I want to WALK more normally.

You can do walk normally, too. Or at least better than you do now. You may not have your “pre-stroke” version of you just now. But you can move towards the next version of you walking now.

Choose your “small steps” to walk better. Leave me a message below in the comments if you want to find out more about how I can help you.
