Today, I want to share my personal story of having two strokes, and how it has inspired me to connect with other stroke patients as well on the importance of having a mentor in your life.

Having a stroke can be a life-changing experience; for me, it was no different. The strokes hit me unexpectedly when I was 50 years young. It was a difficult and challenging time for me and my family, leaving me feeling helpless and lost.

However, over time, I realized that I was not alone in this experience. I discovered that countless others had gone through the same struggles and challenges as me. Connecting with these individuals helped me realize that a community of stroke warriors was willing to support and uplift each other.

Through my journey, I have met some incredible people who have become my mentors, friends, and inspirations. They have shown me that having a stroke does not define who you are or limit your ability to achieve your goals and dreams. The journey requires patience, perseverance, and a positive attitude.

My path has always involved mentors in the veterinary world and the personal arena. I cannot even mention all that I have had as mentors through the years.

I have been fortunate enough to have some fantastic mentors from afar and I need to mention them. Tony Robbins, Dean Graziosi, and Jim Kwik have been my heroes. I can attest to their incredible impact on my personal and professional growth.

A mentor is someone who can guide you, inspire you, and challenge you to be your best self. They have been there and done that and can offer you invaluable advice and wisdom based on their own experiences.

Tony Robbins is a renowned life coach and business strategist who has helped millions worldwide achieve their goals and transform their lives. His books and seminars have inspired me, and his teachings on mindset and personal development have been instrumental in my growth journey.

On the other hand, Dean Graziano is a successful entrepreneur and real estate investor who has built multiple successful businesses. His mentorship has been invaluable to me in learning how to create success on my terms.

Jim Kwik is a world-renowned brain coach and memory expert who has worked with top performers like Elon Musk and Will Smith. His mentorship has been instrumental in helping me to improve my cognitive abilities and unlock my full potential, especially after the strokes.

Having mentors like these has not only helped me to achieve my own goals, but also to give back to others by sharing the knowledge and wisdom I have gained along the way.

I encourage anyone who has experienced a stroke to connect with other stroke patients and survivors. There are support groups, online forums, and social media communities that can provide a wealth of information, resources, and emotional support.

Having two strokes was a life-altering experience for me, but it has also given me the opportunity to connect with other stroke patients and thrivors. It has shown me that we are never alone in our struggles and that there is always hope for a brighter tomorrow. I hope that my story has inspired you to connect with others and find the support and encouragement that you need to move forward.

If you’re serious about achieving success in whatever you define it, in any area of your life, I recommend seeking out a mentor who can help guide you on your journey.
